      <p><span lang="EN-US">Understanding the interface between quantum
          mechanics and general relativity is one of the key challenges
          of modern physics. What happens to the space-time metric when
          a massive particle is in a spatial superposition? Does it
          produce a superposition of metrics? Is there a way to
          experimentally verify this? I will discuss a recently proposed
          experimental protocol, based on ideas dating back to Feynman,
          that may provide an answer to these questions. I will present
          some of the challenges in realizing such an experiment, as
          well as my plans for building an experimental platform to
          address those challenges.</span></p>
